New Forest Walkers

Hi all,

I've volunteered to contribute to the New Forest walker's blog. If anyone has any pictures from the past walks, or other suggestions, please let me know.

The New Forest group are a very informal bunch of Vizsla owners and friends from around the area who regularly get together. Keep an eye on the discussion group for details of future events!

  4. Hi Everyone
I have recently joined, thought I should after having had vizslas for the past 25yrs plus.We have a5yr old bitch called Lucy and a new puppy whom we recently aquired called Poppi who is just 10 weeks old.We live in the New Forest and Lucy is looking forward to a nice long walk with lots of other ginger nuts who might be around her age - just to get out of the house and away from the little monster would be bliss! Looking forward to meeting you all

  5. Hi Everyone
Have just found the date 26th April at Mill Lawn Car Park Burley for the next walk - looking forward to being there....BUT... Lucy likely to be in season and Poppi (puppy) well, she is still going to be quite small, but we just might come along for part of the walk.

  7. We look forward to meeting you all. The walk will be around 1 to 1 1/2 hr hours, but as its along the stream it can be quite leisurely if need be as the dogs tend to spend more time swimming. My mobile is 07764 664379 of you want more details. Paula X

  8. Thank you Paula, i'll give you a call nearer the time if that's ok. Really looking forward to meeting up, am sure my Fergus will love seeing some kindred spirits. There are only a couple of vizslas locally and he has only seen them once or twice!

  9. Hi Nicky, nice to speak to you today. Look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, 11am @ Mill Lawn Burley.
If you're coming from A31 through Burley, take left turn into Chapel Rd at the Queens Head Pub, after about 300 yds take right turn into beechwood rd?? something like that ! Follow road for 1/2 mile and Mill Lane is 1st road on the left. Car park is then about 100yds on right.

  10. Hi everyone, we've got a 13week old Puppy and have just joined the group. We'd love to join in on your next walk (although we may have to do the short version as he still has little legs!) Is there one planned?? Be great to meet up with you all...are we allowed to bring our Weimaraner long too? Thanks Lucy

  11. Hello! We live in Bournemouth and have a 11 month viz called Ruby, and a rather more mature Kati, who is nearly 9 years. I'd heard about the Viz Whizz in the Forest, where we walk both of them very often and would love to come along to the next one. Look forward to hearing when it will be. Thanks Sue
